New idea for a contest: Design your own Hollow/Arrancar/Vizard mask from Bleach. If you don't know what a Hollow/Arrancar/Vizard or Bleach is, look it up then get crackin'. I'm going to doodle one up for the hell of it, it is not a contest entry. end date for contest is either December 1st, or when I get an entry from everybody on my main friend/watch list.

The next few weeks could have some really good results for y'all. Me and my Photography colleagues are getting in an Special Effects-ey mood and are playing some new tricks. We can already create "Sith Lightning" in a fairly easy and fun way. And while can't make any promises, you could see some bending, ala "Avatar: the last Airbender. (probably firebending, as it's simplest to simulate for right now) First we'll set up some shots of someone using Sith Lightning/Lightning Bending (probably me)that could take a few days. (because of our laid-back attitude)

I've infected by SPORE. This simple little, cutesy game has made me a hardcore fan, but it's also raised a quandry with my sense of ethics. I've never felt so creative as when I'm creating some new starship or alien critter, and I'd love to images of them on Deviant Art with y'all. But, Spore is not my creation. Would I be displaying anothers work as my own by showing these things? Or would the uniqueness of these creations entitle me as the sole creator, and the game engine as a mere canvas? Please tell me your thoughts, friends. Does this seem a strange thing for me to worry about?

Been thinking about a making a story, covering three generations of the same person(genetic reincarnation) seperated by ages (distant past, present-ish, distant future), and the effect of their actions on the course of history/future. I'll fill in more later, once I've thought more about it myself, but suggestions are always welcome.

So yeah, I just watched the anime equivalent of Captain Planet last night, and it actually rocked. A bit preachy, but I guess that's to be expected from an environmentalist show. I even felt a little bad about eating those hamburgers today. Not so much because they're unhealthy or anything, but because the suffering experienced by those poor cows will give rise to a giant worm-like "Rajah" demon, who will combine with a genetically engineered, petroleum product eating bacterium, to create a plague that will devour all petroleum based products and bring an end to mankind. See, Anime teaches us so many useful, realistic things. Eh, at least it didn't have that retarded kid with the power of "heart". I swear, he has got to feel like the aqua-man of that show, All his friends doing cool stuff like makin' waves and fireballs and stuff, and he's just stuck with "HEART!!" Eh, I digress.
