I've infected by SPORE. This simple little, cutesy game has made me a hardcore fan, but it's also raised a quandry with my sense of ethics. I've never felt so creative as when I'm creating some new starship or alien critter, and I'd love to images of them on Deviant Art with y'all. But, Spore is not my creation. Would I be displaying anothers work as my own by showing these things? Or would the uniqueness of these creations entitle me as the sole creator, and the game engine as a mere canvas? Please tell me your thoughts, friends. Does this seem a strange thing for me to worry about?

Tucker: Yeah, well there's no U in team either. So if I'm not on the team and you're not on the team,... THERE'S NOBODY ON THE DAMN TEAM! The team sucks.

you go to the store and buy spore right? as of that moment you have what is called share rights. you have like a one hundred millionth of a share in the game therefor you have the right (as long as you are not distributing the game engine itself) to display the images. just like the paper company can sue you for posting a drawing on a piece of their paper. i hope you followed me through this explanation.
